Sherman Yu, MD | Medical Director

For over a decade TLC MedSpa’s medical director, Dr. Sherman Yu, has dedicated his career to restoring health and well-being to his patients. In 2005 Dr. Yu opened TLC MedSpa’s sister practice, Texas Laparoscopic Consultants Surgery, where he offers an entire spectrum of weight loss options including non-surgical treatments and minimally invasive techniques. Seeing that road to a healthy and active life is a lifelong journey, Dr. Yu opened the medical spa in 2021 to give all his patients a path. TLC MedSpa started with muscle toning and sculpting services and has grown to include pharmaceutical and nutrition weight management, and aesthetics with neotoxins (Botox and Dysport), dermal fillers, skincare treatments and services.

Originally starting his career as a PA in the Emergency Medicine setting, Donny was first introduced to the world of Aesthetic Medicine seven years ago and was instantly hooked. He pursued advanced injectable and laser training with many of the top industry leaders. As his skills, aptitude, and passion grew, so did his appreciation for the dramatic impact he was able to make in the lives of his patients.
